The 2011 DoubleTree by Hilton US Windsurfing National Championships wrapped up this past weekend capitalizing on what has been one of the best weather regattas on San Francisco Bay this decade.
At the midway point of the US Windsurfing Nationals, held on the San Francisco Bay, 39 competitors from the US, Australia, Brazil, England, Finland, Latvia and New Zealand have all had their plates filled with great on the water racing and great hospitality from the organizing committee.
With a billowing fog bank playing peek-a-boo with the Golden Gate Bridge and a nice 20 knot sea breeze filling in across San Francisco Bay the 2011 Doubletree by Hilton at Berkeley Marina US Windsurfing National Championships kicked off in high style.
