16:51 | Over 90 competitors registered till now - and still one hour to go ! Includes 9 or 10 women. The sailors have good, light wind, conditions for training today.

13:42 | Competitors are coming steadily into the registration tent - we have a light cross shore breeze for practice.

09:10 | Today is registration day at the Europeans here in Liepaja, Latvia. New faces are arriving to mix with the fleet that just competed in round 2 of the Baltic Cup. A very strong fleet is anticipated for this years championship.

19:51 | There was not enough wind for formula - results fom yesterday are final. Martin Ervin (EST202)won the event -joined on the podium by Filip Korczycki (POL555) and Wilhelm Scurmann (BRA999)

11:10 | Good morning - the wind is too light for Formula -we are on stand by.
However, there is also a raceboard fleet here and they will start soon. 110 competitors in the Baltic Cup event - windsurfing is alive on these shores !

21:45 | an incredible 81 competitors registered for the Latvian Baltic Cup - round 2 of the series, and fore-runner of the European Championships. with 4 races completed Martin Ervin (EST202) is leading from POL555, BRA999, BRA3333, and EST24. Big party tonight in town and first possible start tomorrow is 11.00.
