Predominantly light winds today which eventually allowed racing to start in the afternoon in 8-10knts. Very sunny day, but the winds died away after 2 races, and racing was cancelled at 17.15.

From the 23rd to 27th of July the International German Championships took place on Sylt within the Volvo Surf Cup 2014 presented by Flens. The event attracted over 60 competitors from seven different nations to compete over five days on the North Sea.

Today was the first day of the fantastic event CAMPOFRIO VIANA FW 2014. Some competitor´s start to arrive since Wednesday this week, to be relaxed for the event and also to know better the place, normally in this time of the year in Viana is sunshine and wind from NW, that is very good and is a clean wind.

Janis Preiss (LAT-23) is declared the 2014 Formula Windsurfing Masters World Champion and also the 2014 Gallipoli Formula European Cup Champion. Karl-Erik Saarm (EST-228) is 2014 Formula Windsurfing Youth World Champion.
