The 2012 North Sea Cup Series finished last weekend with the fourth, and final, round held at Herne Bay in the UK. Forty one racers participated in the Series - which spanned 4 countries: Netherlands, Belgium, France and UK.
Arriving in Amsterdam over the weekend; midweek I drove down to Warsaw in Poland (along the awesome new Polish highway from the Germany border to “almost” Warsaw) to catch up with Steve Allen and then travel together up to Sopot for the Polish Open, the 2nd of this year’s new European Cup FW Tour.
After the final 3 races were completed today Steve Allen (AUS))emerged as the overall winner and takes maximum points forward towards the Formula World Ranking and the new European Cup ranking.

From June 13 to 16 in the beautiful and windy waters of Chiessi (Elba Island), will take place the Italian Formula Windsurfing Championship and Memorial Cup to Davide Beverino.
Another day of testing conditions and the star man on day 2 was yet again Steve Allen (AUS0) with 3 wins out of 3 races.

With strong offshore winds forecast the decision was made to run all races back to back. By the time the racers got back to the beach at 19.30 four races had been completed.
