News – Formula Windsurfing

Valentin takes the win in the Balkan Cup and consolidates his lead in the inaugural European Cup with one event to go.
14 races over 4 days - no day without racing - proves the worth of the venue and the organisation.
Nikolas Skarlatos , with two second places in todays racing, moved himself ahead in the rankings over 3rd placed Yoann Fleury.
The wins in todays 3 races were shared amongst 3 racers chasing the podium positions!
Congratulations to the winners, and to the organisers, proving yet again what great venues and opportunities exist in Greece for formula racing.

Last day of Eurocup Greece; 3 more races accomplished. 1st race at 6 to 10 knots and 2nd and 3rd 10 to 15 knots. 14 races in total in 4 days, that was a fantastic event. See you next year

Day 3

During 3rd day of Eurocup at Schinias Marathon the thermal NE wind was 6 to 12 knots. We did 3 races all won by Valentin Brault. For second place we have a suspense for tomorrow since Nikolas Skarlatos and Yoann Fleury have the same points, but still Nikolas is holding. For tomorrow we expect thermal NE around 15 knots, so stay tuned for another 4 races...

Schinias Marathon

Schinias Marathon is one of the best spots for Formula Windsurfing. At 12:30 we went on water trying to make a race but the northwest wind was not stable to race. Finally after 1 hour in water the wind changed to northeast 15 to 23 knots and we started 2 races back to back. In total 4 races took place....

From the 6th till the 9th of September, we had the Spanish Formula Champ. At the Bay of Cadiz, launching from the Andalucian Federation´s new training center at Puerto Sherry. As an open event, we had Spanish Formula racers and some Portuguese guests.
