No valid races on the last day of the 2013 Qantas Downunder Pro – Formula Windsurfing Championships with 50 knot squalls battering the event for the entire day leaving the total at 5 races over the regatta.
The Qantas Downunder Pro - Formula Windsurfing Oceanic & Australian Championships had sailors caught in a long day on the beach with no racing, as a large southerly front travelling up the New South Wales coast played havoc with the weather dumping torrential rain, 50 knot gusts and even some hailstones!
Racing at the Qantas Downunder Pro - Formula Windsurfing Oceanic & Australian Championships kicked off on Day 2 today with scorching temperatures and a building NE’erly breeze which reached 25 knots by the late afternoon allowing for 5 races for the day.
