The Algarve windsurfer Miguel Martinho was awarded the European Formula Windsurfing Masters Champion title, this Sunday, May 22, after winning the 12 championship races held over five days off the Praia da Rocha, Portimão.
Liepaja, “City where wind is born”, will once again host a Formula European Championships.

Once again we had a big event in Alqueva in this little paradise we have in Portugal, for those of you that don´t know is one of the biggest Lakes in Europe, in the middle of Portugal with amazing conditions for nautic sports and for many other sports.
Again the paradise of Alqueva had everything except wind.

As usual for an event so early in the global year, all the latest and greatest equipment was ready to be tested in actual racing conditions with the new Hollow PD Board probably creating the most interest.
The 2016 formula windsurfing European season kicks off with the Alqueva/Monsaraz European Cup from 24th to 27th March.
