All Sailmakers wishing to participate in this scheme for the year ending 2002 shall, by April 26th 2002, submit the list of sails they wish to register for use in international competition in the Formula Windsurfing Class.

Each size of sail shall have an accompanying, specific, data sheet that defines the position and ” sail girth” at each full width batten pocket.
The Datum point for all sail measurements shall be the “Head Measurement Point”
As defined in the International Formula Windsurfing Class Rules 2002
The “Formula Junior” Class has size limits of 6.5m.s and 8.5.m.s. together with more restricted luff lengths and limited mast cams. Please refer to the rules of this class on www.junior-windsurfing.org

Upon receipt of these sail data sheets , each size of each model of sail will be issued with a unique registration number.
For the 2003 season it will be a requirement that the registration numbers are printed on the sails during production
Each sailmaker participating shall submit not less than one sail from the range of sizes registered for area measurement by the ISAF approved measurer for this scheme.
These should be approx. 6.5/ 8.5 m.s. (F Junior) or 11.0 m .s.(max) or 12.5 m.s.(max)
The cost of registration and the required control measurement shall be as follows:-
For each size of each model registered and data logged – 50 Euros
For each sail control measured there may be an additional measurement charge of 50 Euros. All shipping and clearance costs shall be paid by the Sailmakers.
For the 2003 season sailmakers shall submit the list of sail sizes they wish to register not later than 20th December 2002. These sails will be issued with registration numbers for printing onto the sails during production runs.
The “provisional”2003 lists will be published on 1st Jan 2003, these will be subject to confirmation on 1s Feb 2003 by which time the data sheets from actual production sails shall have been submitted and all registration fees paid .
