The 12 event 2014 European Cup series concluded this weekend in Loutsa Bay, Attica, near Athens.
Latvian formula specialist Janis Preiss took the first place on the podium with another conclusive win and with it the title of European Cup Champion 2014.
Estonian John Kaju held on to 2nd place overall despite not travelling to Greece for the final event. The battle for 3rd overall came down to a tie break – Janis Rencis’ 3rd place in Loutsa was not enough to move him into 3rd overall; and on the tie break it was young Karl Erik Saarm that kept the final podium position.
Now in its 3rd year the European Cup is expanding and with it the competition gets tighter
