Over 120,000 spectators visited the Volvo Flens Surf Cup event site, off Brandenburgerplatz, Westerland, Sylt over the 5 days of multi discipline windsurfing.
50 formula racers, from eight countries ( representing 3 continents) participated in 6 challenging races. Gabriel Browne (BRA50) dominated proceedings winning 3 races and coming second in his other 2 counting races. Vincent Langer (GER122) was top german racer and finished 2nd overall , closely followed by Yoann Fleury (FRA 730) who managed to win 2 races but a black flag disqualification in race 3 spoilt his chance of second spot.
