In the mini series between James Briggs (GBR-91) and Nikolaos Kampouropoulos (GRE-2000), for final two races of this event Kampouropoulos (GRE-2000) showed superb form and claimed solid victories over Briggs (GBR-91). However, the late charge was not enough to claim the event victory.

The 2011 mini series finishes off at two events to Briggs (GBR-91), one to Kampouropoulos (GRE-2000). I’m going to enjoy that beer…

For the FW Balkan Open, a full 15 races were held in a mixture of conditions providing real challenges for all competitors. Coupled with 25 degrees of sunshine and blue skies for the majority of the event, all international competitors went away from this having enjoyed a last blast of the European summer.

Below is shown the final preparations before the awards ceremony.
