We would like to invite you to the German Windsurfing Championships which will take place in Westerland/Sylt from Juli 25th to 29th 2007. The event is a three discipline regatta featuring Racing (Formula Windsurfing), Slalom (IFCA) and Wave-Freestyle. Competitors can register for all disciplines or only a limited selection. The event gives points for the official Formula Windsurfing World Ranking List.
The German Championships on Sylt are the biggest national windsurfing competition in Germany and the annual highlight of the tour of the national series German Windsurf Cup. Over 100.000 spectators are awaited over the five days of the event. Besides the windsurfing competitions there is a huge program with various funsports, catering, after race parties with famous live acts and the legendary party-nights. Almost everybody in Germany has holiday and the island will be crowded with tourists looking for windsurfing action.
Like at all other German Windsurf Cups competitors from foreign countries are not only allowed but very welcome. There is just one exception: Foreign competitors can win the event but they cannot win the official title.
There are numerous goodies for the competitors that will make the participation in the German Championships a memorable trip: free high quality lunch, free event shirt, free drinks, free party entrance,… The competitors can feel like kings!
