First day of races and no wind…how typicall!!!!! We started the day with the skippers meeting at 11am…everything went normal besides some complains of the split fleets…seems like the blue group has the top 8 of the World Championships 05 and the yellow fleet none. The rule says the split has to be make by the formula windsurfing current rankings so we stick to it.
So blue had Antoine Albeau, Wijtec Brosowski, Gonzalo Costa Hoevel, Ross Williams, Julien Quetel, Devon Boulon, Ben van der Steen, Dennis Little.
Yellow has Steve Allen, Alberto Menegati, Arnon Dagan between others…check thge groups!
Waiting now for some termic wind, racers are relaxing on the beach under the coconuts trees having lunch or just chilling….
Winds is from the west and there is a line teasing us that comes close but then suddenly it vanishes…seems like we are gona get some wind really late but we will still wait for it and go for a couple of races if possible…
