Devon Boulon wins North American Championships, Jesper Vesterstrom 2nd, Sam Ireland 3rd.

I arrived at the beach at around 10:30, looking forward to one last day of racing. Unlike the previous days it was very cold as well as windy and overcast. The plan was set to run a long distance race at about 12:30. It was definitely going to be fun and interesting as the wind was said to be much lighter up the bay as well as being incredibly gusty and shifty. Jesper, Sam and I went for the big 11.6’s while Wilhelm and Seth went for the 10.0’s. Some of the gusts down near the start were around 20+knots as well as some very rough water.

Long Distance Race….. We did a beach start from waist deep water which was interesting……..For full final report with final results please check out http://www.devonboulon.com/news.php
