The day began with light wind and overcast conditions resulting in a three hour delay to starting time. But it was well worth the wait, as a beautiful 12-14 knot SE gradient breeze was ushered in and the skies cleared to set the scene for perfect racing conditions. The atmosphere was relaxed out on the water today, and despite the delayed start, another four race results are now on the card. A two lap windward leeward course was set with gates top and bottom, which made for really enjoyable windsurfing. Some sailors erred on the side of caution by heading out with smaller sails in anticipation of stronger winds moving in as in previous days, but it was not to be so.

With 11 races completed so far, and with the third and final drop being taken into account, the leader board remains unchanged with Wotjek leading, followed by Jesper V, Jesper O, with Sean and JP Tobin breathing down their neck for a possible podium finish.

The final day of racing tomorrow is due to start at 10.00am with a possible four races to come, in what is expected to be, yet again, perfect conditions at Elwood.
