Alberto Menegatti (ITA-456):
I was really surprised about my performance, I had a killer start on port, the speed was really good, my tactics as well. So i was able to finish the race in the first position with the safe margin! I had a really good trim with my YES 12,3 my Starboard 147. I was using a really fast 70 Deboichet (thanks to JJD). But the race is not over yet, so I have to stay focus trying to make other good results tomorrow.

Aleks Grynis (POL-86):
Finally we had start that I was waiting for a long time. I arrived to Cagliari at 20th so I was enjoying here for more than week. Jesper and two more juniors from Denmark were here as well with me. We had great training for 7 days. I was quite dissapointed that we hadn”t any race yesterday but finally today I kicked off with good 3rd position. Great wheather nice sea breeze and good result all I needed today…
Devon Boulon (ISV-1):
We got one race with very good wind today. I was unfortunate to have some trouble as I was approaching the upwind mark in second place. And then dropping back quite a bit. But I am hoping for some good racing tomorrow.
Andrea Cucchi (ITA-1):
The wind not helping us here on the island but it’s great to see a young Italian punishing all of us with a great port start. Having Alberto getting so good on the water will help the Italian level get better. My Fifth is OK after I had bad tactics in first lap.
