Today the US Open winds picked up a notch more than yesterday, so competitors finally got good power in there sails.
Gonzalo got a 1, 1, 1, overearly and DSQ (port and starboard with Micah in race 8). He’s in 6th place because of this.
Devon (see photo) takes the lead with some consistent sailing. Today he got a 2, 2, 8, 2 and 2.
Phil finally won a race when Micah and Gonzalo were overearly in the last race of the day. He got 3, 4, 2, 3, 1. Phil is in second place behind Devon.
Micah got a 4,3, 5, 1, and overearly. So he’s in third place.
Jimmy had an OK day with a 7,8,3, 5 and 4. He’s lying in 4th place just ahead of Wilhelm Schurmann.
Racing is very close, we are planning to do five races tomorrow, so we get 3 drops. Gonzalo will be hoping for this, but can’t afford anymore mistakes or he’s open the door for the others to go through.
