Very good racing but was beaten by Gonzalo. I have missed mark only 1 meter. Gonzalo was three meters higher. I just missed it and I had to tack, tack and he is gone just 30 –50 meters and he goes first. It was a good race, very tricky and very long. So many general recalls. So many sailors, some maybe a lot of amateurs sailors, pushing to line to hard always having the general recalls. It is difficult to have a good start. It is very, very tough racing with so huge fleet and so many general recalls it is incredible. But it is good.

I had a good start on port and I went to the outside of the course where was more wind and other guys starting starboard go where was less wind, on the left side. So I was leading first upwind and I just kept the lead. Second upwind Steve was close but he tacked too soon to reach the mark ..and I was clean. That’s all. Looking for the next one…

I am very happy about my last race give me my first first ever in Europe. I got three good races so far, looking for more to through out my worst. Very tough, really tough conditions are out there, very shifty and always makes difficult, tactical racing with a little bit of luck!

Today it was not bad for me. The first race I won, second I was third. In the last one I had a really bad start so my first upwind was bad so I tacked like six times. So I was almost 20 at the first upwind mark and finished eight so I fight a lot. The wind was really light so it is really hard to come back when the wind is light. But is OK.
