The One and Only, the Original Calema Midwinters, in Merritt Island, Florida Space Coast is now online.
Join us in the biggest windsurfing family gathering in the USA. It is our pleasure and pride to invite all people to attend this event in its 19th year. Last year we had 253 competitors.
A space shuttle is scheduled to launch around the event date so please check hotel reservations quickly. You can watch the launch from the Banana River,
a wide body of water where we race.
Last years winner was Antoine Albeau, 2nd Kevin Pritchard, 3rd Micah Buzzianis, and in the women Dorota Stasewska, 2nd Lucy Hurwood.
We also are very proud to announce that Team Members Phil McGain, 2001 and 2002 Formula Worlds Masters winner, and Matt Pritchard, 2002 PWA Freestyle World Champion will be conducting a 2 day clinic on Racing. This clinic is for more advanced sailors who are on Formula boards, and want to tap Phil and Matt’s vast knowledge.
Clinic dates 26-27th February, limited to 15 people.
Midwinters Racing for A-fleet starts the 28th (Friday) to March 2nd.
Sport Fleet racing starts March 1st , 2nd.
