The Formula Foil Grand Prix, named after our dear friend Andrzej “Japa” Ożóg – Japa Cup has concluded in Puck, Poland today. Puck delivered some amazing action for both Youth and Senior competitors with a total of 13 races completed across the three days of racing.
Champions past and present were battling out for the top places in the senior category with the Masters World Champion Bartek Kwiek (POL 1111) finishing ahead Janis Preiss (LAT 23) and Paweł Dittrich (POL 381).
The Youth category was also strong with 26 youth and junior in total on the start line. In the boys it was Igor Lewiński (POL 30) ahead of Davis Mazais (LAT 29) and Oliwier Urbański (POL 227). A notable mention goes to Maciej Dąbek, top junior doing well and overtaking many of his older friends. Among the girls it was all three local riders Anna Igielska, Maria Rudiowicz (top junior) and Maria Gushchina.
