Yesterday was the first day of the Formula Nationals & European Cup.
One race completed in very light wind. Race officer ΑΚΗΣ ΧΡΥΣΟΧΟΥ and his team tried to get another race completed, however conditions did not improve.
European cup leader LAT-23 claimed the first bullet of the week, closely followed by GRE-28, AUT-30, GRE-1001, GRE-19.
Today, the forcast is looking good. However, with heavy rain predicted for tomorrow, our RC will be eager to get as many races completed as possible.
A big thanks to the Albatross club for hosting. And a massive thanks to Christos Frey, for all his hard work and running around behind the scenes.
The next few days of racing are sure to be exciting. There is a great vibe on the beach, and the local sailors are looking forward to racing with the foreign competitors who have come to Greece for this last event of the cup tour.
