Another day of testing conditions and the star man on day 2 was yet again Steve Allen (AUS0) with 3 wins out of 3 races.
Offshore and very windy conditions greeted the competitors as they arrived at the club , SKZ Ergo Hestia Sopot, in the morning.
After a delay to the scheduled start of racing, 3 races were held – back to back – and i am sure the racers will be looking for to the “grill” being laid on this evening, and perhaps an early night !
Or will they be tempted to sample the superb nightlife in Sopot?
Whilst Steve looks invincible at he top of the ranking, and Wojtek Brozozowski (POL10) fairly safe 2nd, it is still all to play for tomorrow for the third podium position. Valentin Brault (FRA 823) performed consistently to move up to 3rd , but 4 polish riders cannot be ruled out of contention – Hubert Mokrzycki (POL25), Jacek Piasecki (POL13), Lucasz Konieczny (POL320), and Michal Polanowski (POL16).
Over in the womens division the overnight leader Agnieszka Pietrasik (POL19) held on to pole position, she was consistant again , but posted 3 third places . This allowed Maja Dziarnowska (POL180) with 2 bullets and second place to move within 2 points of the leader.
