We have received requests for advice and help from racers wishing to combine their plans for both PWA Aruba and FW Worlds in Puerto Rico.

Miami International airport is the likely hub for both destinations and we have been able find secure storage near Miami airport. Competitors can fly into Miami with fw and slalom kit , deposit the fw equipment in storage and fly on to Aruba. After Aruba fly back to Miami sore the slalom kit and return to PR with fw equipment . I am sure you get the picture .

The equipment will be stored at Liquid Surf & Sail ( Surf shop in Miami ) for a one off fee of US$150.

Details:

Happy to help with sailors gear transfer back and forth from Worlds. Here is how it would go:

–Gear would be dropped off at shop, address shown below, about 10-15 minutes from Miami airport.

–Gear would be taken to secure storage while sailors are gone

–Sailors call Jim, coordinate what day they want gear back at shop

–That day, Jim will have all their gear available for pickup

–Shop hours are 10-6, anytime in there is good

–Cost would be 150 dollars/sailor for the whole thing, from beginning to end.

What we want to avoid is trips to the airport with gear, that is definitely not good!! Much easier to coordinate from shop, much less traffic, easier for everyone.

The key will be to call beforehand so we can arrange and make sure gear is ready for you.

Thank you!
