On this day and with the good dinner offered by the organization in the 3º day of the event, every windsurfer wake up a little tired. The day start with lots of sun and a North wind, strong 20 to 22 knots. The schedule for this day was 2 races back to back. The skippers meeting star at 11h 30m with the possible first start at 12h30. Everyone was hoping the wind come don´t a little, but not so luck, the wind only go don´t to 20 knots. The first race star in time at 12h30 wind North wind in 20 knots. It was a crazy final and a beautiful one, in one hour the 2 races were finish, with that wind. Miguel Martinho that was in first place in the 3º day lost the Championship in the last day, Pablo won the two races and was the PORTIMÃO TROPHY / IBERIAN CUP 2010 – Champion.
Everyone of the windsurfers competing in this Championship said that the organization was very good, and the local conditions was fantastic and one of the best places to do Formula Windsurfing racing.
We hope in 2011, we can to the same.
