The final leg of the 2009 Formula Windsurfing Grand Prix World Tour reaches the shores of Ceara State, Brasil, next week. Wind Brasil Fortaleza attracts the top names from racing, and will take place in Fortaleza from 25th to 29th November.

World Champion Steve Allen (AUS0) will renew his battle with vice champion Wojtek Brzozowski (POL10) to claim the Grand Prix title. Fortaleza is a popular destination for windsurfers- sun, samba and WIND are the ingredients guaranteed to attract a top level international fleet to challenge local hotshots and brasilian stars.

From Europe Jesper Vesterstrom (DEN111), Alberto Menegatti (ITA4) and Dennis Littel (NED 13) will be challenging Wilhelm Schurmann (BRA999), Gabriel Browne (BRA50) and Paulo dos Reis (BRA3333) for podium positions. However Brasil has strength in depth to call upon: from the Melo brothers, Fortaleza favourites; and from Olympic star Ricardo (‘Bimba”) Santos, making his debut in this event.
