Postponed last spring for the sudden death of Davide Beverino, 2009 edition of FW Italian Open National Championships will be raced from Thursday October 22nd to Sunday October 25th in Cagliari, Sardinia.
The most important event of Italian FW racing season comes back to the cradle of national FW, where ten years ago were scheduled the early regattas of the only just born class. Windsurfing Club Cagliari, located near Poetto, the very popular public beach in the capital of Sardinia region, is an experienced sailing club that hosted many national and international regattas not only in windsurfing world. All foreign competitors are welcomed in Sardinia to join our Championships. Cagliari is well served by flights and ferries and many low-cost airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet link many European towns.
