The 2009 world festival, that includes World Championships for FE and FW Junior Youth and Masters , will take place from 4th to 11th July.
The organiser and host club, Club de Vela de Valdelagrana, is based in Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz.
The venue will be the superb beach, fronting a natural park, with excellent wind statistics, adjacent to the beach resort of Valdelagrana.
The organiser is supported by an enthusiastic team of local formula racers that include Fernando Martínez del Cerro (ESP71) -well known on the international tour.
Technical support will be provided by Federacion Andaluza de Vela, based a short boat ride across the bay at Puerto Sherry.
The main sponsor of the event is the Junta de Andalucia, the administrators of the natural park; supported by the Town Hall of Puerto de Santa Maria.
