Formula World Tour moves on to Sopot…..

The second leg of the World Tour takes place from 4th to 7th June, hosted by SKZ Sopot. The 2008 Sopot Formula Windsurfing Grand Prix is sponsored by the City of Sopot and CF Plus. It will be the first time a major international formula event has taken place in Sopot , although the club have hosted many championhips for other classes.

Top Formula racers from all over the world converging on Sopot include Gonzalo Costa Hoevel (ARG 3), Wilhelm Schurmann (BRA 999), Steve Allen (AUS 0), Alberto Menegatti (ITA 456), Jesper Vesterstrom(DEN111),Miguel Martinho (POR5) and Ross Williams (GBR 83) and they face a strong challenge from Poland’s Wojtek Brzozowski, Hubert Mokrzycki, Michal Polanowski, and from the host club, Pawel Hlavaty.
