The Ranking System has been updated to accommodate the Formula Grand Prix Tour and “Regional Tours “. The forthcoming Grand Prix events have been added at Level 1 – these prize money now have parity with Continental Championships. Details about the 2008 Tour will be published shortly – but this years events will comprise 3 European stops and 3, later in the year, in Brazil. It is hoped to add North America and Asia to the tour from 2009.
The series result of “regional” tours, ie tours within a continent, will be added to the ranking at Level 2. Therefore for 2008 the Baltic Cup series result will be added to the Ranking. National Associations are reminded that each paid member association can add one open event to the ranking calendar.
