In spite of a poor forecast race director Bruno de Wannemaeker was able to complete a full days racing for all fleets.

Fw, youth and masters, and fe sailors completed 4 races ;and 3 races for FW junior.

Conditions were a light but steady 8>10 knots -with the wind swinging on shore before building sufficiently in strength to start racing.

The first possible start was scheduled for 11.00- and Bruno true to his word started exactly on time catching out a few juniors who were perhaps a little too “casual” in their preparations( i am sure a valuable lesson was learned!)

Todays racing did not always go as expected for the leaders from day 2 -with some new faces poppng up in the top finishers -and even winning races : POL40 and EST47 in the masters ; POL220, ESP16 and FRA10 in the youths; POL243 and ESP80 in the juniors ; BEL80,FRA9 and FRA 69 in the FE fleet.

However , the leaders from day 2 remain in pole position at the end of today – Ron Ruiter (NED1111) Masters ; Robert Baldyga (POL18) Youths ; Teade deJong (NED777) Juniors ; and Alexandre Cousin (FRA75) in FE .

There are not so many girls competing this year , but those here are mixing it well within the mens fleet.

Agnieszka Pietrasik (POL19) , still a junior , has finished the day ranked 24 out of a very strong youth fleet of 39 -with a best place of 16th in race 5.

with one day to go we are hoping for another full days racing tomorrow.
