From Tuesday June 20th to Saturday JJune 24th Porto Corsini near Ravenna will host the 2006 Italian Formula Windsurfing Open National Championships. After the successful editions in Elba Island 2004 and Reggio Calabria 2005, this year the most important event in Italian FW racing season docks at Porto Corsini, a tiny area on the northernmost part of Ravenna.
Ravenna is one of the most important town in the history of Italy and nowadays many worldwide famous churches and basilicas stand with their wonderful mosaics of Byzantine age that make it an unforgettable destination.
Adriatico Wind Club is known for his hospitality and warm welcome and offers a very good range of logistics (regatta office, equipment area, inner parking, bar-restaurant, private rest area with beach umbrellas and so on) and is located just outside Porto Corsini that is a peaceful place along the canal harbour. Near the sailing club there is a very big cluster-pine forest, where is possible walking deep in the nature. To all foreign competitors we offer a good package, with regatta entry fee, membership of Italian FW Class as requested by our rules, four free dinners on 20th-21st-22nd and 23rd June all for 150 Euros. Naturally people can enter on site the first regatta day.

Ravenna is linked to Italian highway network through a 30 km. long link road that starts 4O km. to the south of Bologna. When you arrive at Ravenna you have to follow the signals to Porto Corsini and Marina Romea and enter in Porto Corsini. AWC is located at the end of the little town near the North pier.
