02:36 | Alison has returned from a further vist to a specialist. As ever the recommendation is not to race -but for sure if the wind gets up , she will test her condition with a view to continue racing .
Sailors are on hold on the beach – but have spent the morning in Elwood SC reviewing the action on the water yesterday-from the GPS tracking units fitted to top sailors .
The coverage has provoked huge interest and has kept the sailors entertained since the skippers briefing .
The race committee are hopeful of racing from mid afternoon .

23:45 | Some good news , some bad news to report regardng sailor injuries .
ITA 3(Beverino’s) start line crash on wednesday resulted in him visiting the hospital to receive stitches in a deep cut to his elbow .He returned yesterday to finish 17th in both race 4 andrace 5 .
Not such good news for BRA999 (Wilhelm Schurmann) who has his arm in plaster and a brken thumb , a resul of a catapult .
Advised by the doctors to get an operation asap (a tleast within 3 days) Willhelm left for home early this morning -we wish him well and a speedy and successful recovery .
We await further news from AUS911 (Allison Shreeve) regarding her condition .A collision with a male competitor reslted in a visit to casualty and an X-ray on a lower leg injury .
Desite signifcant discomfort , she finished the last race of the day in first place .
23:10 | The day dawnedovercast and muggy , following an earlymorning thunderstorm . we expect a light northerley breeze to drop and swing to south west and build into a good sea breeeze this afternoon .So we will be on hold for some hours i think.
