The wind has kicked in and steadied enough to call the mens fleet to the water .

G’day from Elwood SC , Melbourne …the racers are on hold . The expected sea breeze has failed to materialise …..as yet .

The entry list is not quite what was expected -96 sailors pre entered for the mens fleet , but 87 have completed registration .

Therefore Class Race Representative , Ceri Williams , took the decision to race the men as one fleet .

This has become the major talking point of the day ; the decision appears to be welcomed by the majority of racers , whatever their ranking
