Devon draws first blood in formula with Jesper, Wilhelm, Sam, and Phil right behind.
I got out of bed at 8:30 this morning and looked out the window to see if the forecast was true. And it was! I was 20-30knots out on the river already.
So obviously they called for slalom. They ran masters first won by local hero Bruce Peterson as Phil was towed back to the beach with a broken mast. Men started next as the winds increased to gusts of 35knots. I was very overpowered on my 6.8 as I was late to the start and then crashed at a later jibe mark to finish well behind the leaders.
