From August 13th to 17th the Windsurfing Euro-Cup will return to one of its most famous locations. The beautiful village of Silvaplana/St. Moritz (Switzerland) will again host the most important Racing and Slalom series at the “Engadinwind.com” which is one of the biggest Windsurfing and Kitesurfing festivals in the World. Other Highlights of the event are the IFCA Freestyle World Championships 2005, the Kitesurfing “Fly to King of the Air”, the 28th edition of the famous “Engadin Surf Marathon” and a Junior regatta.

The Windsurfing Euro-Cup Silvaplana features both disciplines Racing and Slalom and has a total prize money of EUR 20.000,00.

The Lake Silvaplana is famous for its unique Windsurfing conditions. The height of 1.870 metres above the sea level in combination with the reliable Maloja thermic makes the competition in Silvaplana an unforgettable experience.

Silvaplana is easy to reach by car from everywhere in middle Europe. This adds up to the attractive prize money, well organized event and unique venue. Therefore numerous participants are expected to come to Silvaplana. All top racers of the Windsurfing Euro-Cup will take the chance to fight for ranking points in the prestigious series.

The Notice of Race will be published in the next days. You can already pre-register on the official website www.euro-cup.org. Further information about the event itself can be found on the event website www.engadinwind.com.
