The results couldn’t be more exciting before the last races of the Formula Windsurfing Youth World Championships 2004 in Dranske/Rügen (Germany):


Dorian – happy winner!!!

Dorian van Rijsselberghe (NED-82) is the only top rider who can enjoy the party in the event tent tonight. With the optimum of 5,6 points he is already save as new Formula Windsurfing Junior Champion 2004. But three Polish opponents in the Junior Fleet are fighting for the remaining places on the podium: Przemyslaw Sieminski (POL-239 / 32,0 points), Maciej Rutkowski (POL-238 / 34,7 points) and Patryk Hronowski (POL-232 / 36,0 points) are currently head to head and the final race of the Junior Fleet will decide.

Even more exciting is the situation in the Youth Fleet: Florent Renard (FRA-539) has lost almost his whole lead. With 18,1 points his is still first but in his neck he has Markus Bouman (NED-666) with 18,8 points who is coming closer and closer.

Among the women the fight is also full on: Sara Beckman (FIN-441) is leading with 18,7 points. But only 0,7 points behind is Jozefina Rudzinska (POL-1381). Jenifer Kesik (POL-215 / 24,4 points) and Agnieszka Pietrasik (POL-193 / 24,7 points) are fighting for the third place on the podium.

In the Senior Fleet the German record Champion Bernd Flessner (GER-16) is clearly in the lead with 9,6 points. Helge Wilkens (GER-63 / 21,4 points) follows on the second place. Very exciting is the fight for the third position between Denis Standhardt (GER-189) and Martin Ervin (EST-202) from Estonia. Klaus Sausen is the favourite for the IFWC title “FW Master Champion 2004” but his hardest opponent Pikul Ryszard is directly behind him.

The Skippers Meeting for the final day is set for 9:30 with the first possible start at 10:30.
