Attention competitors! From September 15th to September 19th 2004 the Formula Windsurfing Youth Championships 2004 and FW Class Master and Junior Championships will take place in the village Dranske on the island Ruegen (Germany).
The event does not count for the Windsurfing Euro-Cup 2004 as it doesn’t offer any prize money. None the less competitors of all ages (not only Youth and Masters!) have the chance to participate in this great festival. For several pros this might be an interesting regatta to fill the gap between the two PWA events in Hungary and Westerland/Sylt Germany.
It is the plan to have one Youth Fleet for competitors under 20 and one Senior Fleet for competitors from 20 upwards. The Youth competitors are fighting for the official ISAF title “Formula Windsurfing Youth World Champion 2004”. The other divisions are fighting for the official IFWC Class titles “Formula Windsurfing Master Champion 2004”, “Formula Windsurfing Junior Champion 2004” etc. You can find the details about the regatta in the Notice of Race (NoR) at www.formulawindsurfing.org.
