I woke up a little late this morning after missing my alarm. but it wasnt such a problem after looking out my window and seeing the glassy looking lake:) the location of this whole event is killer. it is an all grass rigging area. and the apartments are almost on the waters edge less then 100 meters from the race site. the only downside is a long walk out before the water gets deep enough to put down those 70cm fins. all in all it is a great location. now hopefully we will get some wind.
the wind came up just a bit in the early afternoon but it was never near enough to race so we spent the day working on equipment, playing some minigolf(which is right in the middle of the rigging area), and then in the later afternoon we got a great game of soccer. so at least we got a little exercise today.
the forecast is showing about the same for tomorrow. but it is showing about 9-12knots for the weekend so i think we will get a bit of racing in on those days.
