Today the Formula Windsurfing Class received confirmation from the Rhodes Windsurfing Academy that the necessary support to proceed with the event had been received from Athens. This event has the financial and logistical support of :
the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism , the Ministry of Aegean and Island Policy ,the Southern Aegean Region , and the Municipalities of Rhodes and Ialisos .
The IWA and Formula Class supports the aim of the organisers and sponsors to ensure the long term viability of bringing the major windsurfing events to Greece , and to Rhodes in particular with a long term agreenment to host Formula Windsurfing events .
