Italian Formula Windsurfing Class welcomes all foreign competitors to Italian
Formula Windsurfing Open National Championships that will be run in Chiessi, a
wonderful and tiny village in Elba Island, the pearl of Tuscania Archipelago,
from Tuesday June 1st to Saturday June 5th. For the first time ever, as
requested by Italian Sailing Federation, our national championships will be an
one-event series. So best competitors from all over Italy will gather Elba
Island, that in the last four years has already been the spot of important FW
national competitions, in order to race for titles of Italian Champion in Male,
Female, Master and Grandmaster divisions.
As usual Italian FW Championships is an open event, but foreign competitors have
to become member of our national association (Euro 65 male and female or Euro 38
youth under 20) and to bring their national membership card with the relevant
medical certificate. Third party liability insurance for this event is included
in Italian FW Class Membership.
Please read carefully the following news, with accomodation range and daily
program.
Travelling to Elba Island is an exciting time. Being part of National Park of
Tuscania Archipelago is not only a wonderful windsurfing resort, but an holiday
place to share a week with your family and sons too. We hope and see you early
