Hi All
We just wanted to update you with what’s happening Downunder this winter on the East coast of Australia, which is a great place to sail Formula, slalom and Wave.
We have trained for 2 weeks in Brisbane where Steve lives, we have tested our new gear and have now just arrived in Melbourne to participate in The Melbourne Intercontinental Championships in the Town called Elwood.
Temperature is much different from Brisbane’s 38 degrees and warm winds. Melbourne is about 17-20 degrees, raining, windy (27-35 knots), just like Europe actually, should get better tomorrow!
We have 4 days of racing and it starts of tomorrow. We will keep you posted about how the racing goes for the next few days.
In a few weeks we go down to participate in the Australian Championships in Sydney, we will, of course, also bring sailing updates from there…
