First start was at 10:45 with 15-18 knots, the cold front still going

through making the winds shifty from the south east.

Gonzalo lead the race from start to finish, and had some great boardspeed

going down wind making it impossible for anyone to catch him. I finished in

second followed by Elizeu Vieira in 3rd and Rodrigo Costa in 4th, Rodrigo

Costa is Gonzalos older brother who normally does race comity (including the

last south americans in Peru) but this time he came for the fun part and is

out there racing with all of us.

Winds dropped to 9-13 knots on the second race and most people went for big

sails. I started on Port tack with Paulo dos Reis and after finishing second

found out I had gone over early. Gonzalo once again lead all the way

followed by Elizeu Viera who is going really well and leading the masters.

In 3rd came Pablo Sao Thiago and in 4th Leonardo Rebello.

They starded the 3rd race at 3:30 but had to cancel it for lack of wind.

So the provisional results after 5 races are as follows:

1. Gonzalo Costa ARG 3

2. Chris Mc Grath PUR 5

3. Wilhelm Schurmann BRA 999

4. Paulo dos Reis BRA 3333

5. Leonardo Rebello BRA 121
