Paros, September 2nd 2003
Only two days to go for the kick off of the next Windsurfing Euro-Cup. The action will take place in the bay of Golden Beach on the Greece island of Paros. Some competitors are already here for a some days more and more are arriving at the moment. It is a great atmosphere as over a month has passed since the last Euro-Cup event and everybody is happy to meet each other again.
Many competitors want use a few days before the event to tune in their equipment, to train and to get used to the climate and the conditions in the Aegean Sea. Here in Greece the summer is still alive! We have blue sky, perfect sunshine, green water, golden sand, 30 degrees and … wind! At the moment the wind is blowing with about 15 knots from its typical Meltemi direction offshore.
