I’ve just came back from Torbole yesturday. Unfortunately I have no good news. Two days before I left for Torbole I’ve broken my finger. This was the reason why I decided to start in the junior division ( -8,5 m2) and not like I planned before in the youth division ( -11m2). My left hand was disabled during the whole event. I invented a special hook that I used in the place of my left hand. This was the only way to compet. Of course I couldn’t race at 100% of my skills. For example pumping was nearly totaly impossible. Though I menanged to win one out of 12 races (this was the day when wind reached 20 knots) and ended up on the fourth position.

This was a real “onehanded” regatta. In 10 days my finger will be all right so I’ll start in the PWA in Leba. My younger brother sailed quiete well and ended 8th (3rd in the under 15 group). He was the youngest competitor.

all the best
