Matthias story:
Yesterday after the races we were fast to make our reports with full speed. All the competitors and the staff were invited into the famous Casino of Estoril for a great dinner and a show. We had to be there at 20:30 after finishing the last race after seven. With lightning speed we managed to bring the results to the marina, prepare the ranking and write the media infos. Then we raced to the hotel for a short shower and dressed up as jackets were obligatory. Picking up KJ, Brian, Aleks and Jesper we made it to the welcome drink just in time.
It was a great show to see all the racers dressed up in smart clothes. After tasting some great Portwine we enjoyed a perfect dinner. Then the show started and left a great impression on everybody. Afterwards some of the racers went into the “real” Casino rooms to try their luck. The hardcore party team continued to a nice local party with hundreds of nice Portuguese girls. At five in the morning the last racers finally found their way to bed.
