Hi all!
I’m here at Cagliari for the Women’s Cup.
I came here with two Italian friends, with the car and the trailer of our club Circolo Surf Torbole (thanks!). We took the ferry and had a really nice and funny trip. I arrived at Cagliari the day of inscription. My friend Margit was already here and she reserved a nice place in the shadow for my tent near her car. So I prepared my new ²home² for the next days. After a plate of pasta we went surfing.
During the night there was plenty of wind, therefore I was really excited and looking forward to the races. After a nice breakfast in the morning Margit and me prepared all the gear for the race. After the skipper’s meeting at 12 o’clock we went out to check conditions, but the wind was already dropping and till 1 pm, when we should have our first start, there was no more wind. So we passed the time laughing at the beach and swimming for cooling down (sun was so hot). Then the wind shifted to the opposit direction and we went all out for races. Guys started first, and guess was happened: they had general recall. Till we girls could finally start, there was no more wind.
Summary of the day: no race, but nevertheless surfing, swimming and a lot of fun! Bye! I’m going to beachparty now!
