Welcome to Day one of the 2003 Petit Navire FW European Championships here on the spectacular Bay of Douarnenez,Brittany.
The day starts sunny with clear blue skies and only light winds-very different from yesterday ; when many of the sailors who had arrived early for the event , took the opportunity to tune and practice in winds gusting in excess of 25 knots .
Registration commenced today ,and will continue tommorrow morning ,with the first possible race tomorrow afternoon .The full list of competitors will be posted tomorrow.
