The first competitors are going to the water for some testing and training. The wind has picked up a little bit and seems to be almost sufficiant as the racers have no problem to plane. We are now waiting for information from the race crew on the water…

The regatta team is setting up the course. At the moment the wind is not strong enough to start. But we hope that it will stabilize soon. In the meantime all the competitors are preparing their equipment. It looks like a giant horde of ants!- Everybody is rigging, tuning, taping…

We just had the skippers meeting. Now we are waiting for the starting time at 12:30 and for good conditions as the wind is not stable enough, yet. The girls will be the first to start. The mens fleet will follow.

The ora seems to start early this morning! We have already a southern breeze. The locals say that this is a good sign for a strong ora.

Good morning from Lake Garda. Today is the first day of the EC Malcesine. Still competitors are registering. Again this morning there is no north wind. But yesterday this was a good sign as we got a strong ora in the afternoon. The first start is scheduked for 12:30 today. So stay tuned for great racing action!
