This wekend the first competition races have been sailed out of the 5 weekends the Dutch National Championschip will take this year.
Ben van der Steen has won all the races this first event and there by leading.
Besides Ben allso Pieter Bijl was strong this event, but he was over early in the last race so he dropped out of the top 5, giving room to Ramses Landman, who became second. Dennis Littel, last years Espoir, now entering the mens race ended up third. On the forth place last years Dutch Champion Ron Ruiter. and on fifth Adri keet.
The wind was a constant 15 knots, strong enough to let them fly and race with high speed thru the water.
All the Dutch are in top shape and I think we will hear more of them in the Euro Cup series.
Not to forget the young sailors as espior or youth on the Formula Youth equipment.
