We have now been on Lago di Garda for about 10 days… Weather has been perfect everyday. We had some strong northern winds in the morning for the small sails; turning south in the afternoon so we can go training with the big sails. We are here all alone training, Where is everyone? Anyway we have a lot of German Easter tourist to sail among, so it’s not so bad after all!
In-between the windsurfing the area is perfect for Mountain bike training, beautiful terrain at all levels, perfect. So if you have a bike, Bring it!
Today all the girls showed up, The “Girl Camp” starts tomorrow, so the lake will be full of girls, so maybe you should all consider coming after all. Brian Rogild is all setup to receive the girls together with “helping” coach Nikolai Kruppa, also from Denmark.
We train a lot on the difficult wind shifts there will be at the event so it doesn’t comes as a big surprise to us when we start the race. And the best thing about being prepared is that we don’t need to come up with “stupid” excuses why we were in the middle of the wind shadow after raving…(probably heard that one passing your ear a few times)..
